Watch the video to learn about the powerful and lasting impact our therapeutic riding programs have had on riders — and their families.
Our Programs
-
Therapeutic riding provides people of all ages with physical limitations cognitive, social, and emotional benefits.
-
EAL can help build self-esteem, improve communication, build trust, increase mindfulness, and improve social skills.
-
Equine assisted psychotherapy offers a multifaceted approach to improving emotional and mental health. Through building trust with horses and engaging in therapeutic activities, individuals can heal from trauma, enhance self-awareness, and develop important life skills.
-
Animal-Assisted Activities (AAA) are designed to enhance quality of life through motivation, education, and recreation. These activities are led by specially trained professionals, paraprofessionals, or volunteers, working in partnership with animals.
-
Families are invited to share meaningful moments with our small animals during morning or afternoon visits. From brushing their wool to offering a snack or simply enjoying playful interactions, each activity is designed to bring joy and create lasting memories together.

Our Mission
Provide opportunities for individuals with diverse needs, and those who care for them, to discover increased independence and resilience through research-based animal-assisted interactions and activities.
Horses with Hope receives no state or federal funding.
The fees we charge for our services cover less than 20% of our program cost.
We depend on the very generous support of our community to ensure that Horses with Hope not only survives, but thrives.
