Horses With Hope is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a $500 Spark Good Local Grant from Walmart Belle Vernon!
Walmart Spark Good Local Grants are funded directly by individual Walmart stores, Sam’s Clubs, and Distribution Centers to support non-profit initiatives right in their local communities. This much-needed support directly impacts our mission, allowing us to continue offering high-quality therapeutic riding and equine-assisted learning opportunities for riders with diverse needs. Every dollar helps provide the care, equipment, and resources required to keep our amazing herd and programs thriving.
To make the occasion even more memorable, Horses With Hope board Vice President Tony Knaus attended the grant celebration event—and ended up meeting a fellow Tony!
We extend a heartfelt thank you to the management and team at Walmart Belle Vernon for believing in our mission and investing in the transformative power of equine-assisted programs. Community partnerships like this keep our arena doors open and our horses ready to serve.
Community partnerships such as this make our work possible, but the need is always growing. Here is how you can join us in making a difference:
Donate: Support program scholarships or horse care funding.
Volunteer: Assist with riding sessions, barn management, or special events.
Spread the Word: Follow Horses With Hope on social media and share our story!
