Girl Scouts Visit Empress Farms

Girl Scout Troop #52398 spent a memorable day at Empress Farms, diving into the world of horses through a hands-on, educational visit.

The girls learned the basics of horse care, grooming techniques, common colors and markings, and an introduction to a few popular horse breeds. The girls then had the opportunity to meet several of our program horses up close—spending time grooming, bonding, and snapping a few photos to remember the day.

Each scout went home with a gift bag filled with horse-themed treasures—a special keepsake from all of us at Horses with Hope.

Big thanks to the scouts (and their leaders) for bringing such great energy and curiosity—we love sharing the joy of horses with the next generation! 🐴💚
