HWH Receives Pittsburgh Excellence in Ethics Award

Horses with Hope was among the distinguished honorees at the 2022 Pittsburgh Excellence in Ethics Awards (PEEA) luncheon. HWH received the Small Nonprofit Award, recognizing its commitment to ethical practices, community engagement, and life-changing impact.

Held on February 8, 2023, the PEEA luncheon brought together business and nonprofit leaders from across the region to celebrate organizations that exemplify integrity and civic responsibility. Hosted annually by Southwestern Pennsylvania Rotarians—in partnership with the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, University of Pittsburgh Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence, and The Pittsburgh Business Exchange, with presenting sponsor UPMC Health Plan—the event has become a signature celebration of ethics in action.

The luncheon also raised funds for the City of Champions Emergency Fund, which works to eliminate barriers to success by supporting education and life-sustaining employment for those in need.
